OBS Receives Recognition for our Work
The Organization for Black Struggle, along with a few organizations, were honored for our consistent work for and with our community. The recognition was by the Black Caucus/Board of Alders during their annual Black History Month Program. Tempestt Tuggle accepted the proclamation on our behalf. Also on hand was Kendra Tatum and Jamala Rogers.

Black History Quiz Winner
During Black History Month, OBS launched a blitz to gather as many signatures as possible for the minimum wage and CLEAN Missouri ballot initiatives. There were many challenging Black History questions and several really nice prizes. The blitz continues!

Up with Radical Hope…
This is going to be the OBS rallying call as we stay optimistic in the face of ugly anti-Black attitudes and actions with our Freedom Movement. These two concepts came separately from OBS members Sistah Jennifer and Baba Kalimu. It made sense to put them together for the political grounding we’ll need in 2018.
