We will come together to watch the film and discuss how we can apply the lessons from Alabama to our work in Missouri.

Clemency for Lance Shockley – October 14, 2025

Clemency for Lance Shockley – October 14, 2025

We need your help to support Lance Shockley and his fight for clemency Missouri plans to murder Lance Shockley on 10/14/2025. Lance has always maintained his innocence and MADP supports him on his claim.
  • The jury did not impose the death sentence. He was sentenced to death by the judge, not a jury of his peers.  The jury was deadlocked.
  • Law enforcement identified over 500 investigative leads and multiple alternative suspects, many of which were not run down.
  • The case is based on circumstantial evidence – the state admits this!  No direct evidence ties Lance to the crime: no blood or bodily fluids, no DNA, no hair, no fingerprints, and no eyewitnesses — more information can be obtained at the website link below.
  • The case involves “junk science” which is not scientifically sound.
  • The integrity of the trial has been called into question.
  • The jury foreman brought a self-published book to trial, a fictionalized autobiography describing murderous vigilante justice against a drunk driver. He brought the book to deliberations and showed it to other jurors. Lance’s trial lawyers never questioned anyone about the book.

No Kings Mass Protest: St. Louis March for Democracy – June 14, 2025

No Kings Mass Protest: St. Louis March for Democracy – June 14, 2025

NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.

🚨On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.🚨

Join 50501 and Show Me Action for a NO KINGS MASS PROTEST and MARCH for DEMOCRACY on June 14 from 2 PM to 5 PM. We will rally at Kiener Plaza in Downtown St. Louis.

Schedule: – 2 PM: Rally featuring speakers

3 PM: March (Time subject to change) After the march, come back to Kiener Plaza for music and festivities.

Donald Trump thinks his rule is absolute, but in America, we don’t do “kings.” Since the inauguration, the Trump administration and its enablers have operated as though they have a mandate—but they don’t, and never did. They are going to extremes to empower Trump and enrich themselves, while cutting jobs and services for the rest of us. Now, they’re turning Flag Day into a celebration of Trump.

We’re standing together against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On June 14, we gather to remind Trump and his enablers: America has No King!

Join millions nationwide on June 14 to march against authoritarian politics and billionaire takeover. Be part of a national moment that changes the conversation—and turns the tide.

Register to receive details and updates in the days leading up to the event.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
