The Coalition Against Police Crimes and Repression thanked BB233 sponsor Ald. Terry Kennedy after the historic vote for give the Civilian Oversight Board subpoena power. The victory is part of the ongoing struggle for police accountability in St. Louis with the passage of local control in 2012 after a 30+-year struggle and the establishment of the COB in 2014. CAPCR will be focusing attention on the upcoming term expiration of COB members and building organizing circles in each COB district.
