Black Workers For Justice
BWFJ believes that African American workers need self organization to help empower ourselves at the workplace, in communities and throughout the whole of US society to organize, educate, mobilize and struggle for power, justice, self-determination and human rights for African Americans, other oppressed nationalities, women and all working class people whether employed or unemployed, union workers or unorganized. We work to build the strength and leadership of Black workers in the Black Freedom and labor movements.
Black Youth Project 100 (BYP100)
Black Youth Project 100 (BYP 100) is an activist member-based organization of Black 18-35 year olds, dedicated to creating justice and freedom for all Black people. We do this through building a collective focused on transformative leadership development, non-violent direct action organizing, advocacy and education.
#BlackLivesMatter is a call to action and a response to the virulent anti-Black racism that permeates our society. It centers those that have been marginalized within Black liberation movements. It is a tactic to (re)build the Black liberation movement. #BlackLivesMatter is working for a world where Black lives are no longer systematically and intentionally targeted for demise. We affirm our contributions to this society, our humanity, and our resilience in the face of deadly oppression. We have put our sweat equity and love for Black people into creating a political project–taking the hashtag off of social media and into the streets.
The Dream Defenders develop the next generation of radical leaders to realize and exercise our independent collective power; building alternative systems and organizing to disrupt the structures that oppress our communities.

The Malcolm X Grassroots Movement is an organization of Afrikans in America/New Afrikans whose mission is to defend the human rights of our people and promote self-determination in our community. While organizing around our principles of unity, we are building a network of Black/New Afrikan activists and organizers committed to the protracted struggle for the liberation of the New Afrikan Nation – By Any Means Necessary!
Million Hoodies Movement for Justice
The Million Hoodies Movement for Justice was established in March 2012 in response to the murder of Trayvon Martin. What began as a grassroots effort to pursue justice on behalf of his family, quickly evolved into a full-fledged organization. Million Hoodies is a national racial justice organization with 50,000 members working to protect and empower young people of color from racial profiling and senseless gun violence through creative technology, strategic communications, and grassroots organizing. Our organization seeks to build a safer and more racially tolerant America by transforming the public narrative on gun violence and racial profiling while providing the tools necessary for communities to protect themselves.
Ohio Student Association
The Ohio Student Association engages in values-based issue & electoral organizing, nonviolent direct action, advocacy for progressive public policy, and leadership development. We fight for educational justice, because we believe that every child in Ohio has the right to quality public education from Kindergarten through college. On campuses and communities across the state of Ohio, we organize young people to build local and statewide independent political power.
Sankofa is a social justice organization founded by Harry Belafonte that enlists the support of today's most celebrated artists and influential individuals in collaboration with grassroots partners to elevate the voices of the disenfranchised, and to promote peace and equality.
US Human Rights Network
The US Human Rights Network is a national network of organizations and individuals working to build and strengthen a people-centered human rights movement in the United States, where leadership is centered on those most directly affected by human rights violations, and the full range of diversity within communities is respected and embraced.
Veterans for Peace
Veterans For Peace is a global organization of Military Veterans and allies whose collective efforts are to build a culture of peace by using our experiences and lifting our voices. We inform the public of the true causes of war and the enormous costs of wars, with an obligation to heal the wounds of wars. Our network is comprised of over 140 chapters worldwide whose work includes: educating the public, advocating for a dismantling of the war economy, providing services that assist veterans and victims of war, and most significantly, working to end all wars.
